What we do

Knoxfield provides back-office and financial-operations services for small business owners, including bookkeeping, invoicing and receivables support, payroll support, compliance and administrative support, and CFO-grade financial clarity. Our website and client portal let you learn about these services, contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, and, for clients, access reporting and tools related to the work we perform for you.

Not professional, legal, tax, or investment advice

The information on this site and in our general materials is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice, and it does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, or fiduciary relationship. You should not act on any general information without seeking advice from a qualified professional about your specific situation. Services we perform under a separate written engagement are governed by that engagement, which controls if it conflicts with these Terms.

Eligibility and accounts

The Services are intended for business owners and authorized users. If you are given access to a client portal or other secured area, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and not to: attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or related systems; interfere with or disrupt the Services; upload anything malicious; scrape, copy, or harvest content except as ordinary browsing requires; or use the Services to violate the rights of others or any applicable law.

Third-party services and connections

The Services may link to or connect with third-party services (for example, our scheduling page, a payment provider, or an accounting platform such as QuickBooks Online). When you choose to connect a third-party account, you authorize us to access and use the information needed to provide the Services, subject to that provider’s terms and to our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Intellectual property

The Services, including our content, branding, logos, and software, are owned by Knoxfield or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content or software except as permitted by these Terms or with our written consent.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with the Services, and is incorporated into these Terms.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information on the site is complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Knoxfield and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and these Terms do not alter the terms of any separate written engagement for services we perform for you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Knoxfield harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
